My First Today's Thrifty Treasures!

Happy Father's Day! I hope everyone had a great day!

I'm very excited to finally join in Today's Thrifty Treasures hosted by Rhoda over at Southern Hospitality. It's one of the main reasons I started a blog. You all are having way too much fun without me!

Since I'm new on the scene, I'll cheat a little and show you my finds from the past month.

Everything shown below I paid 50 cents to $1.00 each with the exception of the glass covered cake dish for $3.00.

And now for my favorite! A amish built dry sink for $30.00! I want to paint it but I'm not sure what color to go with. I would love some opinions! (please, please excuse awful wall behind it, we're in the process of re-doing our back porch. This is def. the before shot!

There's more but I'll save a few for next week ;).
Thanks for stopping by! Please leave a comment, I want to meet everyone!

  8. Hi Bonnie! love the profile copy.... You have a great find in that dry sink. What are your plans for the room- color and style wise? I'm into black right now, but then, my decor warrants that... Let me know, maybe I can help. Sue :-)

Love your finds too & that Amish sink is really pretty. If you want to paint it, I can see it in a creamy white. Pretty piece.

The dry sink was a steal - depending on what it will be udsed for, it would be a great inspiration piece with a pop of color! It all depends on its surroundings...

  13. Hi Bonnie,
You got some great stash! I love plates and these are pretty ones. Your dry sink was a steal and it will be a fun makeover. I am getting ready to work on a table I bought. I think your dry sink would look great black, but it depends on what the rest of your home looks like. Welcome to the blogging world, it is fun. Cathy
